About the Founder

Rovelyn Sabucido

Before Rovie Sabucido became the CEO of Oldhoj.com, she assumed various positions and roles in the corporate world. She is also earning a degree in Business Administration, with a Major in Marketing Management from the University of Cebu this year. Because of her educational background and varied experiences, she leads as an Administrative and Operational Professional with years of expertise in Real Estate, Technical Support, Talent Operations, Recruitment, Sales, Inbound Lead Generation, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

She started her corporate career working for Aegis PeopleSupport Philippines Inc. and Teleperformance Careers Philippines. Her role in both companies immersed her into the Technical Support role. She capitalized on these experiences and decided to reach out to more clients that needed her expertise. She started her freelance career as an Administrative Assistant offering back-end support to various foreign clients. Her over two- year stay with MyOutdesk, Inc. harnessed her potential even more and made her more knowledgeable in various fields including email management, social media marketing, report creation, listing management, sales & lead generation, comparative market analysis research, website management, blogging, transaction coordination, client services, data entry, and data mining.

After that, she went back to the corporate world and worked for almost two years for a Denmark-based IT company as their Corporate Secretary. Despite her official designation, she was exposed to more IT, software development, and web development-related projects. Because of this, her fascination with digital marketing and software development grew bigger. After her stay with DESKMA, she decided to learn a new set of skills and immersed herself in real estate. She knows that she needs to build the right network, as much as she has to possess various lucrative skill sets.

This time, she worked for almost five years as Real Estate Virtual Assistant for a California-based company, Magic Real Estate. She used and leveraged the knowledge and tools she previously learned from her first VA gig. This time, she made sure to consider herself a master in real estate and VA-related matters.

Her efforts paid off as she was hired to fill the Chief Financial Officer role in NordicConsult PH Inc. She spent another two years in this role before she landed her present job as an Operations Specialist – Technology, Innovation, and Talent for The Hire Standard.

The clients she worked with in the past only have good words and praises for Rovie. One of her clients said that she has a perfect eye for detail and a jolly disposition that fostered a better working environment for both parties. She is also well recommended for both her go-getter attitude and pleasant personality. All of her clients are in agreement that they’re willing to work with Rovie again for their future projects.

Now, Rovie finally unleashed and laid all her cards on the table as she embarks on a new professional journey as the CEO of Oldhoj.com. She’s leading a team of experienced and well-versed professionals in software development and optimized business solutions.
